Robert A. Broome, III

For over 40 years, Rob has helped clients address their financial concerns, developing strategies that focus on each individual's specific needs. With extensive experience throughout major market shifts, Rob has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services his clients deserve.

After attending Deerfield Academy and Princeton University, Rob began his career in Orlando in 1982 as a Financial Advisor with Thomson McKinnon Securities. In 1984, he joined Shearson Lehman American Express (which later became Smith Barney), where he worked for 25 years providing personalized financial advice for individuals and families. In 2009, Rob accepted the offer to join Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of what is now Wells Fargo Advisors. He joined Raymond James in February 2021.

Rob spends his free time with his wife, Debby, a registered nurse, and their two daughters, Katie and Molly (both now married). He enjoys photography, cycling, tennis, and hikes in the mountains of North Carolina.
